The Russian army bombarded Sloviansk with Grad rockets: many deaths and destruction

Russian occupation forces have again attacked Sloviansk in the Donetsk region. The enemy opened fire from multiple rocket launcher systems, resulting in casualties and destruction of civilian infrastructure.

This was reported by the Slavyansk City Military Administration.

According to local authorities, at around 10:00 a.m., the Russian occupiers launched two massive shelling attacks on the city. The Lisny district, Olimpiyska Street, and the 95th Brigade were hit.

Several high-rise buildings, private homes, a boiler room, and nearby cars were damaged by enemy fire.

The city administration confirmed that three civilians were killed. Information about the injured is being clarified.

Rescuers, police, and municipal services are working at the scene of the crash. The destruction is being localized and investigations are underway.

As a reminder, on Thursday, October 9, Russian occupiers shelled the Donetsk region, with Sloviansk and Kostyantynivka under attack by the occupiers. As a result, one person was killed and 11 more were injured.

As previously reported, the number of gas network damages due to hostilities in the Donetsk region has sharply increased.
