However, there is currently no evidence suggesting it causes a more severe form of the disease.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"782\" data-end=\"893\">Experts also add that existing COVID-19 vaccines are expected to protect against the Nimbus variant.<br \/>\nAs a reminder, health authorities in densely populated Hong Kong and Singapore have warned of <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/v-azii-zrostaie-kilkist-vazhkykh-vypadkiv-zakhvoriuvannia-covid-19-ta-smertey\/\">a sharp increase in the number of Covid-19 cases<\/a>.
