{"id":1245069,"date":"2025-06-13T15:53:50","date_gmt":"2025-06-13T12:53:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/prm.ua\/the-rada-proposes-to-introduce-criminal-liability-for-military-personnel-of-the-tcc\/"},"modified":"2025-06-14T07:29:16","modified_gmt":"2025-06-14T04:29:16","slug":"the-rada-proposes-to-introduce-criminal-liability-for-military-personnel-of-the-tcc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/prm.ua\/en\/the-rada-proposes-to-introduce-criminal-liability-for-military-personnel-of-the-tcc\/","title":{"rendered":"Rada Proposes Criminal Charges for TCC Military Personnel"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"304\"><strong>The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine is set to consider draft law No. <a href=\"https:\/\/itd.rada.gov.ua\/billinfo\/Bills\/Card\/56575\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">13365<\/a>, which proposes introducing criminal liability for officials and military personnel of territorial recruitment centers (TRCs) for unlawful actions against citizens.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"94\" data-end=\"197\">This was reported by one of the co-authors of the initiative, Member of Parliament Oleksiy Honcharenko.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"199\" data-end=\"290\">The draft law proposes amendments to the Criminal Code, including the following provisions:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"292\" data-end=\"1349\">\n<li data-start=\"292\" data-end=\"617\">\n<p data-start=\"294\" data-end=\"617\"><strong data-start=\"294\" data-end=\"352\">Failure to provide or untimely calling of an ambulance<\/strong> at a TRC facility: punishable by a fine of up to 100,000 subsistence minimums, corrective labor for up to two years, restriction of liberty for up to four years in case of serious bodily harm, or up to three years of imprisonment if it results in a person\u2019s death.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"619\" data-end=\"969\">\n<p data-start=\"621\" data-end=\"969\"><strong data-start=\"621\" data-end=\"704\">Use of physical force or destruction of property during mobilization activities<\/strong>: punishable by a fine ranging from 100,000 to 250,000 subsistence minimums, corrective labor for up to two years, restriction of liberty for up to two years, compensation for damages, demotion in rank, and a ban on holding official positions for up to three years.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"971\" data-end=\"1349\">\n<p data-start=\"973\" data-end=\"1349\"><strong data-start=\"973\" data-end=\"1035\">Threats to kill or inflict bodily harm during mobilization<\/strong>: punishable by restriction of liberty for one to three years, referral to a disciplinary battalion for up to two years with compensation for medical treatment, or imprisonment for three to seven years. Additional penalties may include demotion, deprivation of military rank, and bans on holding certain positions.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1376\" data-end=\"1504\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">The bill aims to ensure accountability and protect citizens from potential abuses during the mobilization campaign.<\/p>\n<p>Let us recall that the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine explained <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/yak-oskarzhyty-rishennia-vlk-pokrokova-instruktsiia-dlia-viyskovozobov-iazanykh\/\">how to appeal the conclusion of the VLK if you consider it unfounded or erroneous<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>By the way, MP Fedir Venislavsky reported that more than 50% of citizens who had the status of &#8220;limited fitness&#8221; have already undergone a repeat medical examination.
