The issue of developing Ukrainian ballistics has become a priority for the Ministry of Defense.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Deputy Minister of Defense Anatoly Klochko reported<\/a> this.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

He emphasized that the topic of ballistic weapons today has “out-of-the-ordinary” status among defense areas. According to him, a lot of work has already been done, and special attention is being paid to this area.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

He noted that domestic ballistics is not only technology, but also the ability of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to effectively hit the enemy’s strategic targets deep in the rear. He added that the program is developing, and in the near future, Ukrainian society will hear more specific news in this area.<\/p>\n

Earlier,the director of the Center for Army, Conversion and Disarmament Studies,<\/a> Valentin Badrak, announced that the Ukrainian ballistic missile “Sapsan” had successfully passed combat testing and would be launched into serial production.<\/p>\n

Let us recall that the Ukrainian military-industrial complex has developed new modifications of the missile based on the RK-360MTs “Neptune”<\/a> , which now has a range of up to 1000 kilometers.<\/p>\n

Earlier, Valentin Badrak reported that in mid-May 2025, a successful test of a ballistic missile for the Ukrainian Armed Forces took place<\/a> – it covered almost 300 kilometers and destroyed a Russian command post. After successful use, the missile is planned to be launched into series production.<\/p>\n

The day before, it was reported that in the Kherson region, the Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed an enemy stronghold using a new type of weapon<\/a> from a member of the cluster for the development of military technologies in Ukraine, Brave1.<\/p>\n

As is known, in May the number of hits on Russian command posts increased, which may indicate that Ukraine is testing its own ballistic missiles<\/a> .<\/p>\n
