Israel announced that as a result of the IDF strikes, it eliminated 9 high-ranking scientists and experts who were involved in developing a nuclear program for Iran.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This<\/span> was reported by<\/span><\/a> the press service of the Israeli army.<\/span><\/p>\n

“During the strikes at the beginning of Operation Eastern Lion, nine senior scientists and experts who were developing the Iranian regime’s nuclear weapons program were eliminated,” the report said.<\/span><\/p>\n

This happened yesterday, June 13, when Israeli fighter jets, led by the intelligence agency, simultaneously attacked dozens of targets throughout Iran.<\/span><\/p>\n

It is noted that the strike was made possible thanks to accurate data collected by the intelligence department.<\/span><\/p>\n

All of the eliminated scientists and experts were important sources of knowledge for the Iranian nuclear project and had many years of experience in weapons development.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe individuals who were eliminated played a central role in the advancement of nuclear weapons. Their elimination is a significant blow to the Iranian regime\u2019s ability to obtain weapons of mass destruction,\u201d the Israeli army concluded.<\/span><\/p>\n

Recall that on the night of Friday, June 13, the Israeli army launched a large-scale operation against Iran<\/a> and massively attacked nuclear and military facilities.<\/p>\n

As it became known, an air strike carried out by Israel on the Iranian capital, Tehran, killed more than 70 people, at least 20 of them high-ranking military personnel<\/a> .<\/p>\n

Earlier, US President Donald Trump said that Israel’s attack on Iran was “great.”<\/a><\/p>\n

It is worth noting that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has warned Ukrainian citizens against traveling to a number of countries<\/a> amid the worsening security situation in the Middle East.<\/p>\n
