On Saturday, June 14, a military parade will be held in Washington, the capital of the United States, to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the American Army.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The parade will begin at 6:30 p.m. local time (1:30 a.m. Kyiv time). The festivities include an official ceremony and a march by 6,700 military personnel with armored vehicles. Combat helicopters will also fly over Washington. A concert and fireworks will conclude the event.<\/span><\/p>\n

As President Donald Trump noted, the corresponding measure \u201cwill have no analogues.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The cost of the celebrations will be between $25 and $45 million. This has caused a flurry of criticism from society.<\/span><\/p>\n

The last military parade took place in the United States more than 30 years ago \u2014 in 1991 on the occasion of the military operation “Desert Storm”.<\/span><\/p>\n
