Recently, the Russian army has changed its approach to air strikes in Ukraine, concentrating its attacks on cities.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This<\/span>was reported<\/span><\/a> on CNN.<\/span><\/p>\n

As the publication notes, Russia has stepped up its air strikes in recent weeks, launching nearly 500 drones in a single night. However, the strikes have become not only larger and more frequent, but also more concentrated.<\/span><\/p>\n

The increase in the number of UAVs launched by the Russian Federation overloads Ukrainian air defenses, especially when strikes are concentrated on several locations at once.<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition, the enemy is trying to attack at high altitudes to make the drones much more difficult to control.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to Yuri Chumak, a member of the volunteer drone-shooting squad, Russian UAVs are currently flying at an altitude of two to five kilometers above the ground.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe can see them all. Radars can track them. But it has become impossible to shoot them down with machine guns,\u201d he explained.<\/span><\/p>\n

Now Ukraine has to use missiles to shoot down drones. However, their number is small, which forces the military to look for new solutions.<\/span><\/p>\n

As a reminder, on the night of June 15 , Russian troops carried out a massive attack on the territory of Ukraine<\/a> , launching 183 drones of various types and 11 missiles.<\/p>\n
