{"id":1246246,"date":"2025-06-16T12:05:41","date_gmt":"2025-06-16T09:05:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/prm.ua\/ruslan-kravchenko-may-become-the-new-prosecutor-general-what-is-known-about-him\/"},"modified":"2025-06-16T12:05:41","modified_gmt":"2025-06-16T09:05:41","slug":"ruslan-kravchenko-may-become-the-new-prosecutor-general-what-is-known-about-him","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/prm.ua\/en\/ruslan-kravchenko-may-become-the-new-prosecutor-general-what-is-known-about-him\/","title":{"rendered":"Ruslan Kravchenko may become the new Prosecutor General: what is known about him"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>President Volodymyr Zelenskyy submitted to the Verkhovna Rada a proposal to appoint Ruslan Kravchenko to the position of Prosecutor General.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> This <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/share\/p\/1DusD1dADE\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">was announced by<\/a> the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, Ruslan Stefanchuk.<\/p>\n<p> &#8220;In accordance with Clause 11 of Part One of Article 106 and Part Three of Article 131-1 of the Constitution of Ukraine, the Verkhovna Rada has received a submission from the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy to grant consent to the appointment of Ruslan Andriyovych Kravchenko to the position of Prosecutor General,&#8221; Stefanchuk wrote.<\/p>\n<p> He added that the parliament will consider the submission at one of the upcoming plenary sessions.<\/p>\n<p> It should be noted that Kravchenko was the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration from 2023 to 2024. He also headed the Buchanan District Prosecutor&#8217;s Office since 2021.<\/p>\n<p> Previously, he worked as a military prosecutor. In 2019\u20132020, he applied for the position of SAPO prosecutor, and later participated in the competition for the position of head of NABU.
