Hungarian society is outraged by a new scandalous move by Prime Minister Viktor Orban’s ally, Alexandra Szentkirai. The Hungarian leader’s former press secretary has published a video clip in which she unsubstantiatedly linked Ukraine’s accession to the EU with the threat of organ smuggling, human trafficking, and drug trafficking.<\/strong><\/p>\n

She posted the corresponding video on Facebook<\/a> .<\/p>\n

In the politician’s video, a man with his hands tied in the trunk of a car appears. Szentkirai claims off-screen that the enlargement of the European Union through Ukraine’s accession will allegedly open the door to organized crime, without citing a single fact or source.<\/p>\n

As journalists found out, the “victim” in the staged video was not an actor, but an employee of Prime Minister Orban’s office. The fact that a civil servant participated in the provocation only intensified the outrage.<\/p>\n

The opposition reacted immediately. Momentum<\/strong> MP Ferenc Gelen\u010der condemned Szentkir\u00e1ly’s actions and promised to contact the police. According to him, publishing disinformation that could potentially cause panic among citizens or harm public order falls under criminal law.<\/p>\n

“How can you be so reckless as to baselessly attack a country where many Hungarians live?” he said.<\/p>\n

Gelencher also called on Szentkirai to remove the video so as not to “shame the country before the international community.”<\/p>\n

As reported, in May, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky sharply criticized Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, accusing him of drawing Ukraine into a domestic political struggle on the eve of the 2026 elections in Hungary.<\/a><\/p>\n

By the way, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban convened the Defense Council, announcing an \u201cunprecedented operation by the secret services.\u201d He accused the Hungarian party \u201cTisa\u201d of colluding with Ukraine.<\/a><\/p>\n

In addition, Orban announced the growth of cybercrime of Ukrainian origin.<\/a><\/p>\n

As is known, Orban stated that a significant part of banking fraud in the country, according to him – 80%, is related to Ukrainian citizens.<\/a><\/p>\n
