Since the start of the day, Ukrainian defense forces have engaged in 99 combat clashes as they work to halt further enemy advances into the country\u2019s territory.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is stated in the General Staff report.<\/p>\n

Today, communities in border settlements, including Yizdetske, Petrushivka, Myropilske, Vyshenky, Yastrubshchyna, and Pokrovka in Sumy Oblast, were hit by enemy artillery fire.<\/p>\n

As of the beginning of the day, 17 combat clashes have occurred in the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions, five of which are still ongoing. Additionally, the enemy launched five airstrikes, dropped twelve guided bombs, and carried out 125 instances of shelling targeting both Ukrainian troop positions and civilian settlements.<\/p>\n

In the South Slobozhansky<\/strong> direction, the Defense Forces are currently repelling an enemy assault near the settlement of Kamyanka.<\/p>\n

In the Kupyansk<\/strong> direction, Russian forces made three attempts to breach Ukrainian defenses near the settlement of Stepova Novoselivka, as well as in the directions of Holubivka and Petropavlivka.<\/p>\n

In the Lyman<\/strong> direction, the invading army launched two attacks on Ukrainian positions near the settlements of Kopanky and Nadiya.<\/p>\n

In the Siversky<\/strong> direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled one enemy assault in the Hryhorivka area.<\/p>\n

In the Kramatorsk<\/strong> direction, Ukrainian forces successfully repelled five enemy attacks in the areas of Chasiv Yar, Kurdyumivka, and toward Bila Hora. Another battle is currently ongoing.<\/p>\n

In the Toretsk<\/strong> direction, Russian troops carried out 14 assault operations near Toretsk, Diliivka, and in the directions of Shcherbinivka, Rusyn Yar, and Yablunivka. One engagement remains ongoing.<\/p>\n

In the Pokrovsk direction, Russian forces attempted 32 assaults to dislodge Ukrainian defenders from their positions near the settlements of Popiv Yar, Myrolyubivka, Shevchenko Pershe, Promin, Udachne, Novoserhiivka, Horikhove, Kotlyarivka, Novopavlivka, Andriivka, and Alekseevka. The Defense Forces successfully repelled 25 of these attacks, while seven battles remain ongoing.<\/p>\n

In the Novopavlivske<\/strong> direction, the enemy tried to break through Ukrainian defenses near the settlements of Novosilka, Vilne Pole, Bahatyr, Burlatske, and in the directions of Zaporizhia and Shevchenko. The Defense Forces repelled 17 enemy assaults, with two more attacks still ongoing.<\/p>\n

In the Hulyaipol<\/strong> direction, our defenders repelled two offensive actions by enemy units near Malynivka. Additionally, Olhivske and Hulyaipol were struck by airstrikes.<\/p>\n

In the Orikhiv<\/strong> direction, the enemy launched one attack on Ukrainian positions near Nesteryanka. Aggressor aircraft conducted airstrikes in the Kamyanske and Malaya Tokmachka areas.<\/p>\n

In the Dnieper<\/strong> direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled an assault near the Antoniv Bridge. The enemy also struck Mykolaivka with unguided air missiles.<\/p>\n

In the remaining directions, there were no significant changes.<\/p>\n
