On Tuesday, June 17, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine supported the appointment of Ruslan Kravchenko as Prosecutor General of Ukraine.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by<\/a> People’s Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak.<\/p>\n

The decision was supported by 273 people’s deputies.<\/p>\n

From 2012 to 2014, Ruslan Kravchenko worked as an investigator at the Sevastopol Prosecutor’s Office for Supervision.<\/p>\n

After that, he worked in the military prosecutor’s office. In particular, from 2015 to 2017, he was a prosecutor in the treason case of President Viktor Yanukovych.<\/p>\n

Already in 2023, Volodymyr Zelenskyy appointed Kravchenko to the position of head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration.<\/p>\n

We will remind, the day before, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky submitted for consideration by the Verkhovna Rada a proposal to appoint Ruslan Kravchenko to the position of Prosecutor General.<\/a><\/p>\n

As reported, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed decrees appointing former Prosecutor General Andriy Kostin as Ambassador to the Netherlands and Permanent Representative to the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons.<\/a><\/p>\n
