In the aftermath of one of the deadliest Russian attacks in Kyiv in recent months, rescue operations continue in the Solomianskyi district, where a missile strike on a residential building has claimed 14 lives and left 117 people injured.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by the press service<\/a> of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.<\/p>\n

It was noted that among the dead was a 31-year-old man whose parents searched for him until the very last moment, holding on to hope for a miracle.
\n\u201cHe was the son whose parents waited for him as rescuers cleared the rubble,\u201d said Svitlana Vodolaha, a spokeswoman for the State Emergency Service, in a comment to Ukrinform<\/a>.<\/p>\n

According to the spokeswoman, his name was Dmytro. His body was identified at the scene after many hours of search efforts.<\/p>\n

Journalists published a video showing the parents waiting beside the rescuers\u2014clinging to hope until the very last moment. But the miracle they prayed for never came.<\/p>\n
