Minister of Economy Yulia Svyrydenko stated that the Dobra lithium deposit could become a pilot project with the United States within the framework of the American-Ukrainian Reconstruction Fund.<\/strong><\/p>\n

She wrote<\/a> about this on Facebook.<\/p>\n

“We have investor interest in several deposits. One of them is the Dobra lithium deposit in the Kirovohrad region. The working group will process the application for its development,” Svyrydenko wrote on Facebook.<\/p>\n

She noted that if all legal requirements are met, the procedure for announcing a competition for all interested companies will be launched at the next meeting of the Interdepartmental Commission for Organizing the Conclusion and Implementation of Agreements.<\/p>\n

According to Svyrydenko, the Dobra field potentially falls under the mandate of the American-Ukrainian Reconstruction Fund, and its development could become the first pilot project within the framework of joint investment.<\/p>\n

Recall that on Wednesday, June 4, the Verkhovna Rada finally supported amendments to the Budget Code in order to implement the mineral agreement between Ukraine and the United States.<\/a><\/p>\n

As reported, on the night of Thursday, May 1, Ukraine and the United States signed a strategic agreement on the creation of a Reconstruction Investment Fund and a partnership in the field of critical minerals.<\/a><\/p>\n
