Russian dictator Vladimir Putin held a telephone conversation with Chinese President Xi Jinping on June 19, in which the leaders discussed geopolitical conflicts and international summits.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Putin’s aide Yuri Ushakov reported that one of the topics of conversation was the “roughness” between the countries participating in the G7 summit, which recently concluded in Canada.<\/p>\n

According to Ushakov, Putin drew Xi’s attention to “internal disputes” between Western allies – in particular, due to the early return of US President Donald Trump to Washington, which disrupted a planned meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.<\/p>\n

The Kremlin called it an \u201cunsuccessful trip\u201d for Zelensky<\/strong> , hinting at a weakening of support for Ukraine.<\/p>\n

In addition to the summit, Putin and Xi also discussed the Middle East war between Israel and Iran, as well as further cooperation within the BRICS framework and bilateral relations between Moscow and Beijing. According to the Russian official, the call lasted about an hour and took place “in a friendly atmosphere.”<\/p>\n
