He noted that &#8220;various countries have recognized the mass deportation of Crimean Tatars in 1944 by the Soviet Union as genocide.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p> The document also mentions the facts of persecution of Crimean Tatars by Russia since 2014, including:<\/p>\n<ul><\/p>\n<li> arrests;<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> torture;<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> disappearances.<\/li>\n<p><\/ul>\n<p> According to the author of the document, such actions are a continuation of the genocidal policy of the Soviet Union.<\/p>\n<p> The Netherlands condemned the mass deportation under modern international standards and called on the country&#8217;s governments to consider recognizing this crime as genocide.<\/p>\n<p> Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/andrii_sybiha\/status\/1935749084435911096?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1935749084435911096%7Ctwgr%5E4aec11006e4d0f7da34d2328088c0901cbd0edf1%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&#038;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fespreso.tv%2Fsvit-parlament-niderlandiv-viznav-deportatsiyu-krimskikh-tatar-u-1944-rotsi-genotsidom\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">expressed<\/a> gratitude to the Netherlands for this step, calling it &#8220;a gesture of solidarity with the Crimean Tatar people, who are still persecuted.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p> &#8220;I thank the Netherlands for becoming the seventh country outside of Ukraine to recognize this crime as genocide, and I call on all other countries to do the same.
