Despite the government’s assurances that Unity Minister Oleksiy Chernyshov will soon return from his business trip to Ukraine, there are some doubts about this, as a criminal case has been opened against the official, as well as against many “servants of the people” who are currently hiding abroad.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was stated<\/a> on the air of “Pryamoy” by the People’s Deputy from the “European Solidarity” faction, Maria Ionova.<\/p>\n

“There are not only issues with Chernyshov. The Prime Minister replied uncertainly that it was a business trip until the end of the week. But let’s also remember more than 40 deputies of the “Servant of the People” party, who also “quietly went into the forest” somewhere with open criminal cases and disappeared somewhere, and then we find them in different countries. That is, the government is responsible for those representatives whom they brought into this parliament. And as for the minister, it is generally a shame – the person who should take care that people return… I don’t know, maybe he needs time for someone to help him close some corruption issues,” Ionova noted.<\/p>\n

At the same time, she emphasized that the issue is not only with this minister, but it concerns the entire executive branch – when state institutions only use orders from the Office of the President and do not bear any responsibility.<\/p>\n

“This doesn’t only concern Minister Chernyshov, I’ll tell you that it’s generally sad what the parliament and the Cabinet have turned into… Everyone has their own mission, everyone has their own job, but you definitely can’t hear or listen, you know, only the voices from Bankova Street. You can’t turn into such branches. That’s why state institutions were created, so that they function, so that they discuss, so that they find the best solution, especially in times of war… We don’t even remember the ministers, because they don’t go to report. That is, they don’t bear responsibility. This is the most terrible thing,” the people’s representative reflects.<\/p>\n

According to her, such corruption scandals, as well as the persecution of the opposition, definitely do not adorn the state, so it is worth returning to “the effective course of work.”<\/p>\n

“That is, we have combat commanders in prisons and camps, and ministers and “servants of the people” in Monaco, in other countries… We should talk about what we have done and how we are moving, what strategies we have, what is new in our work, and not just corruption scandals, just the persecution of the opposition, just some kind of revenge. They are already attacking members of the opposition’s families. That is, this is such petty things that definitely do not adorn our state. Therefore, I would still like us to return to a constructive and effective course of work, where everyone knows their job and what to do,” summed up Maria Ionova, a member of parliament from the European Solidarity faction.<\/p>\n\t\t
