In a dramatic escalation of tensions, Iran launched multiple missiles at U.S. military bases across the Middle East on Monday, June 23, retaliating against American strikes targeting Tehran\u2019s nuclear infrastructure.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by<\/a> the Axios publication.<\/span><\/p>\n

An Israeli official noted that approximately ten missiles were launched toward Qatar and one toward Iraq.<\/p>\n

“Aware of potential threats to Al-Udeid Air Base in Qatar, the White House and the Department of Defense are closely monitoring the situation,” a senior U.S. official stated.

Qatar hosts Al-Udeid Air Base, the largest U.S. military installation in the region. According to reports, numerous aircraft and personnel have been evacuated from the base in recent weeks as a precaution.<\/p>\n

France and the United Kingdom also deployed fighter jets over the Middle East to intercept incoming Iranian missiles.<\/p>\n

Earlier, multiple media outlets reported that Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia had closed portions of their airspace in response to rising regional tensions.<\/p>\n
