Ukraine has lost bipartisan support in the United States and is also having communication problems with the administration of US President Donald Trump. That is why a new team must be formed that can professionally conduct a dialogue with the United States.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was stated by the fifth president and current People’s Deputy Petro Poroshenko on the air of the program “Politclub” with Vitaly Portnikov on the “Espresso” TV channel.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe need to find, present, and convincingly prove the interest of the United States of America and Trump personally in supporting Ukraine. And how can you prove this if the meeting does not take place? If you entrusted it exclusively to Yermak?\u201d Poroshenko noted.<\/span><\/p>\n

The fifth president emphasized that Ukraine has lost the bipartisan support of the United States of America.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWhat we have had since 2014 and what I have kept as the apple of my eye. The model of behavior that is being implemented today is not just harmful, but threatening for Ukraine. When we claimed that the Ukrainian authorities have serious communication problems with the new United States administration, I first raised this issue in October. And immediately after the elections in November. This is the information that I received from our American partners,\u201d Poroshenko explained.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to him, the Americans’ demand and wish was to remove the ambassador, for whom “the doors of the United States’ government institutions are closed.”<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThis is not a reason, but it is an excuse. And you did not react to this, from the point of view of the Americans, very simple proposal. Moreover, my attitude towards Ms. Markarova is positive, I took her into our government, entrusted her with the relevant ministerial positions. But now, due to various circumstances, due to an absolutely senseless trip to a shell production plant in Pennsylvania on the eve of the elections, where there was not a single Republican. There were the positions of Congress Speaker Johnson, Vice President Jay DeVines, Secretary of State Rubio spoke out on this issue,\u201d Poroshenko recalled.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe second position is the absolute incompetence, toxicity of 5-6 managers. A number of publications in the American press have clearly confirmed this. I want to emphasize that this is not only Politico,\u201d he said.<\/span><\/p>\n

The People’s Deputy noted that ignoring this is dangerous for Ukraine.<\/span><\/p>\n

“I would like to clearly emphasize that I have no goal to criticize the government now. First, the people do not accept the return to reality shows. It doesn’t matter who – whether Shuster or 95th Quarter. The people want to know the strategy of what to do now. Because the fact that the government is doing something wrong is an axiom that does not require any thought. My claims to the government are only that they should do the things that I propose. If they are not done, there will be consequences that I am trying to describe in detail. I am against criticism without proposals,” the fifth President of Ukraine assured.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cPosition one. We need to replace the negotiating team. The doors to the US are closed for this team. And the whole country is paying the price for this. I\u2019m not emphasizing Zelensky, but the whole country,\u201d he emphasized.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt doesn\u2019t matter how Zelensky treats certain members of the negotiating team. They need to be replaced regardless. Zelensky treated Reznikov very well. When hundreds of billions of hryvnias were squandered. He was forced to replace him. Why? Because there was such a mood in society. He may be treating Chernyshov, Svyrydenko, Stefanishyna very well now. Or the head of the Antimonopoly Committee. They are his long-standing friends, godfathers. It doesn\u2019t matter, today they have committed a criminal offense. And they should be removed from power. This is Zelensky\u2019s unconditional direct responsibility,\u201d he explained.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe need a new government. The approaches that the Israeli government has demonstrated and the success that it has achieved. I no longer believe in it, but let Zelensky impress me that he is capable of forming such a government in a critical situation for Ukraine,\u201d the leader of European Solidarity noted.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cInterparliamentary diplomacy is what Israel did, and what was destroyed by absolutely senseless actions, by a team of 5-6 managers. You failed, having communication problems, a huge number of decisions that had to be made. The litmus test is the last budget adopted by the United States. Where even $300 million (to support Ukraine – ed.) was thrown away. We have alarming figures that 80% of Republican voters are not happy with the increase in aid to Ukraine. This is solely because we are not leading an informational position,\u201d he added.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cA government of national unity, parliamentary diplomacy, a radical replacement for an effective and competent position. What should be included? Transferring the economy to military rails. What Russia did. And what Ukraine did not do, and what Europe did not do. And, by the way, what the United States did not do. And then time does not play for us, time plays for Russia,\u201d Poroshenko concluded.<\/span><\/p>\n
