Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in The Hague to participate in the two-day NATO summit, which started on June 24.<\/strong><\/p>\n

On the sidelines of the event, he met with Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof. During the conversation, Zelensky thanked him for the invitation to The Hague, a city that symbolizes justice, and stressed the importance of Russia being held accountable for its crimes.<\/p>\n

The President noted that the Netherlands, as well as Germany and the United Kingdom, have been supporting Ukraine since the first days of the full-scale invasion. He specifically thanked them for the significant amounts of assistance this year and expressed hope for its increase in 2025.<\/p>\n

Zelensky noted that Ukraine has already started joint projects with other states in the field of drone production and would like to develop such cooperation with the Netherlands.<\/p>\n

“Our production facilities can operate both in Ukraine and here. This will be an important basis for further work, as well as for the introduction of new technologies that will help protect Europe,” he emphasized.<\/p>\n

It should be noted that, according to<\/a> AFP, Zelensky’s meeting with US President Donald Trump is scheduled for tomorrow.<\/p>\n

At the same time, journalist Yulia Zabelina reported<\/a> that Donald Trump is still expected at the NATO summit. She specified that the American leader’s arrival is scheduled for Tuesday evening.<\/p>\n

As a reminder, a two-day NATO summit will kick off in The Hague on Tuesday, June 24. The main topics of this year’s meeting will be strengthening NATO’s deterrence and defense system, increasing defense investment, deepening cooperation with the European Union, and continued support for Ukraine in the war and reconstruction process.<\/a><\/p>\n
