On the night of June 24, a new round of escalation between Iran and Israel disrupted the newly announced ceasefire. Although the ceasefire agreement was supposed to take effect in the morning, before dawn, Iran launched missiles into Israeli territory, which was the first step towards its disruption.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Iranian side later denied these actions, emphasizing that it had not carried out any launches after the start of the ceasefire, and the Israeli attacks continued for another hour and a half after the official declaration of a ceasefire.<\/p>\n

In response to the alleged rocket attack, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said he had ordered new airstrikes on targets in Tehran. He stressed that he could not ignore the Iranian violation, which he described as a “blatant” breach of the agreements.<\/p>\n

Against this backdrop, US President Donald Trump, who was en route to The Hague for the NATO summit, also voiced his position. This morning, he spoke to reporters and published a post<\/a> on social media in which he criticized both sides.<\/p>\n

“Israel. Do not drop those bombs. If you do, it will be a serious violation. Bring your pilots home, immediately!” Trump wrote.<\/p>\n

He also expressed “deep dissatisfaction” with what he said was Israel’s “unloading” almost immediately after agreeing to a ceasefire. According to the American leader, both Israel and Iran “don’t know what the hell they’re doing.”<\/p>\n

In public statements, Trump also declared that “Iran’s nuclear capability is gone” and expressed hope that “all the planes will turn home, flapping their wings in friendship.”<\/p>\n

Earlier, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed that the country had agreed to a ceasefire with Iran<\/a> , which US President Donald Trump had previously announced.<\/p>\n

As a reminder, on the morning of June 24, Iran launched several ballistic missiles towards Israel.<\/a> The attack occurred shortly after former US President Donald Trump’s statement that an agreement had allegedly been reached between Iran and Israel on a ceasefire.<\/p>\n
