Both viruses are deadly to humans.

Scientists believe there is a high probability of transmission of these viruses to the local population. There are currently no cures or vaccines for either.

It is noted that scientists have identified 22 viruses, of which 20 were previously unknown to science. Of these, the two most worrisome were identified: Nipah and Hendra, found in animals living in the Chinese province of Yunnan.

It is known that new viruses can be transmitted through urine, which is why scientists are talking about contaminated fruit that can transmit diseases.

The study results raise serious concerns about the transmission of these viruses to humans, as bats are natural reservoirs for a wide range of microorganisms.

Scientists warn that Nipah virus is a deadly pathogen that causes severe disease in humans, including acute respiratory distress and encephalitis, with a mortality rate of 35-80%.

As a reminder, health authorities in densely populated Hong Kong and Singapore have warned of a sharp increase in the number of Covid-19 cases .
