{"id":1251967,"date":"2025-06-25T19:17:42","date_gmt":"2025-06-25T16:17:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/prm.ua\/fake-diya-and-underground-printing-house-law-enforcement-officers-exposed-a-large-scale-scheme-of-selling-fake-documents-to-tax-evaders\/"},"modified":"2025-06-25T19:17:42","modified_gmt":"2025-06-25T16:17:42","slug":"fake-diya-and-underground-printing-house-law-enforcement-officers-exposed-a-large-scale-scheme-of-selling-fake-documents-to-tax-evaders","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/prm.ua\/en\/fake-diya-and-underground-printing-house-law-enforcement-officers-exposed-a-large-scale-scheme-of-selling-fake-documents-to-tax-evaders\/","title":{"rendered":"Fake \u201cDiya\u201d and underground printing house: law enforcement officers exposed a large-scale scheme of selling fake documents to tax evaders"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The National Police of Ukraine and the Security Service of Ukraine have exposed a powerful criminal group that was selling fake documents and copies of the official mobile applications &#8220;Diya&#8221; and &#8220;Rezerv+&#8221;.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> This was reported by <a href=\"https:\/\/npu.gov.ua\/news\/natspolitsiia-ta-sbu-zatrymaly-dilkiv-iaki-prodavaly-feikovi-dokumenty-cherez-pidrobni-dodatky-rezerv-i-diia\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">the press service<\/a> of the National Police.<\/p>\n<p> It is noted that the scheme operated in the Cherkasy, Kyiv, and Zhytomyr regions, and more than a thousand men who were trying to evade mobilization have already used the fictitious services.<\/p>\n<p> According to the investigation, the criminal group consisted of <strong>five people<\/strong> who divided responsibilities among themselves:<\/p>\n<ul><\/p>\n<li> Two residents of the Zhytomyr region created fake versions of the &#8220;Diya&#8221; and &#8220;Reserve+&#8221; applications, into which users could enter personal data, photos, &#8220;seals&#8221;, and other information to simulate official registration in military structures.<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> The programs were distributed via Telegram bots, which provided links to download the counterfeit software.<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> Three residents of the Cherkasy region were engaged in printing fake documents: from temporary certificates of military conscription to certificates of the Ukrainian Red Army, extracts from orders of the Ministry of Economy on reservations, &#8220;leave&#8221; and fake military service certificates from military units.<\/li>\n<p><\/ul>\n<p> To do this, the criminals equipped an illegal printing house based on a private service station, which worked as a real documentary conveyor.<\/p>\n<p> The criminal group&#8217;s prices were more than &#8220;market&#8221;: one package of documents cost up to 7 thousand US dollars. According to investigators, the monthly profit from this scheme reached 300 thousand hryvnias, and more than a thousand men who avoided mobilization into the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have already used its services.<\/p>\n<p> After a comprehensive special operation conducted by law enforcement officers in three regions, the following was seized:<\/p>\n<ul><\/p>\n<li> forged documents,<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> computer equipment,<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> data carriers,<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> elements of fake mobile applications,<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> printing equipment.<\/li>\n<p><\/ul>\n<p> One of the organizers has already received suspicion under two articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine:<\/p>\n<ul><\/p>\n<li> Article 114-1 Part 1 \u2014 obstruction of the lawful activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine;<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li> Article 358, Part 3 \u2014 forgery of documents committed by a group of persons in prior conspiracy.<\/li>\n<p><\/ul>\n<p> Suspicions are also being prepared for other suspects. All perpetrators face up to 8 years in prison with confiscation of property. A pre-trial investigation is currently underway under the procedural guidance of the Cherkasy Regional Prosecutor&#8217;s Office.<\/p>\n<p> We would like to remind you that employees of the State Bureau of Investigation have completed a pre-trial investigation into a law enforcement officer from Chernivtsi region, who is suspected of organizing <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/u-bahazhnyku-do-rumunii-za-20-tysiach-ievro-na-bukovyni-zatrymaly-pravookhorontsia-shcho-dopomahav-ukhyliantam-peretnuty-kordon\/\">the illegal transfer of military conscripts across the state border<\/a> .
