On Wednesday, June 26, the Shevchenkivskyi District Court of the city of Dnipro held another hearing in the case of People’s Deputy Mykola Tyshchenko and former law enforcement officer Bohdan Pysarenko.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It is noted that both are accused of illegally detaining former Kraken special forces soldier Dmytro Mazokha. By court decision, both defendants have been extended preventive measures in the form of night house arrest until August 26, 2025.<\/p>\n

During the court session, the evidence was continued to be examined. One of the key materials was a video from the moment of serving the suspicion on Mykola Tyshchenko<\/strong> , which shows him breaking his own phone<\/strong> , which, according to investigators, may indicate an intention to destroy evidence.<\/p>\n

The prosecutor in the case requested an extension of the night house arrest (from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.), emphasizing the risks of influencing witnesses or obstructing the investigation. The previous restrictions were to expire on July 12. In return, the defense lawyers of both defendants requested that the preventive measure be changed to a personal bond<\/strong> , appealing to the fact that their clients did not evade the court and were cooperating with law enforcement.<\/p>\n

The court, after hearing both sides, decided to leave the preventive measure unchanged<\/strong> , extending the night arrest for another two months – until August 26, 2025.<\/p>\n

The case involving Tyshchenko and Pysarenko concerns the incident with the illegal detention of Dmytro Mazokha, a former Kraken fighter. According to the investigation, the defendants acted together, exceeding their authority, and resorted to actions that can be qualified as hooliganism, restraint of liberty, and physical violence. On May 23, the victim publicly appealed to the court with a demand to compensate him for 35 million hryvnias of moral and material damage caused as a result of the incident.<\/p>\n

The next court hearing is scheduled for July 30. It is expected that new evidence will be considered and witnesses will be heard.<\/p>\n
