Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi made a working trip to the Donetsk region, to the units that maintain defense in the region.<\/strong><\/p>\n

He wrote<\/span><\/a> about this<\/span> on social media.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to him, Ukrainian fighters daily repel fierce attacks by the occupiers in the Novopavlovsk, Pokrovsk, Kramatorsk, and Toretsk directions.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Fights continue on a new direction – Dobropilske. The enemy is rushing to Kostyantynivka, but, apart from numerous losses, has achieved nothing. With the forces of its units of the 68th Army Corps, the 20th and 150th Motorized Rifle Divisions, the aggressor is trying to break through our defenses and advance in three operational directions,” the Chief of Staff said in a statement.<\/span><\/p>\n

As he said, last week, Russian troops launched an attack near the settlement of Yablunivka, using 24 units of armored vehicles. However, the Defense Forces stopped the invaders and also destroyed some of the personnel and 20 Russian armored vehicles.<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition, Syrsky emphasized the strengthening of the Ukrainian army with trained military personnel and timely management decisions.<\/span><\/p>\n

“It is important to maintain full control over the troops and the effectiveness of the units in the process of implementing the corps reform, when the command of the army corps is taken over by certain sets of troops in the sectors. I thank the Ukrainian soldiers for their courage, dedication, and tangible results in neutralizing the occupiers,” he concluded.<\/span><\/p>\n

Let us recall that the day before, Oleksandr Syrskyi noted that the enemy was trying to reach the administrative borders of the Donetsk region<\/a> .<\/p>\n

As it became known, Russian occupation troops are trying to advance towards the city of Konstantinovka<\/a> in the Donetsk region, in particular, the enemy’s main goal is to reach the outskirts of the city.<\/p>\n

By the way, significant Russian activity on the front is observed in the eastern part of the Pokrovsky direction<\/a> , where the enemy is trying to break through to Kostyantynivka.<\/p>\n
