On the night of June 28-29, Russia carried out a massive air strike on Ukraine, using 537 different attack vehicles. Ukraine’s air defenses managed to neutralize 475 of them.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is reported by<\/a> the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.<\/p>\n

It is noted that the attack included a large number of Shahed-type strike drones and other imitation drones that came from various directions in Russia and temporarily occupied Crimea. In addition, the enemy used Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles, Iskander ballistic missiles, Kh-101 and Kalibr cruise missiles, as well as S-300 anti-aircraft missiles.<\/p>\n

The attack was repelled not only by aviation and anti-aircraft missile troops, but also by electronic warfare units, unmanned systems, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.<\/p>\n

As of the morning of June 29, 249 attack vehicles had been destroyed by direct fire, and another 226 had been lost or suppressed by electronic warfare systems. The enemy had been hit in six different locations, and debris from downed vehicles was falling in eight places.<\/p>\n

Recall that at night, while repelling a large-scale air attack from Russia, pilot 1st class Lieutenant Colonel Maksym Ustimenko, who was piloting an F-16 aircraft, died.<\/a><\/p>\n

As reported, over the past 24 hours, 170 combat clashes have occurred on the Russian-Ukrainian front<\/a> . The hottest situation remains in the Pokrov direction.<\/p>\n

In addition, as of the morning of June 29, Russia had lost about 1,018,940 military personnel since the start of its full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Over the course of the day, the enemy’s losses in manpower reached 1,220 people.<\/a><\/p>\n
