On Monday, June 30, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with German Foreign Minister Johann Wadeful and leaders of German defense companies.<\/strong><\/p>\n

He wrote<\/span><\/a> about this<\/span> on social media.<\/span><\/p>\n

During the meeting, it was possible to discuss the sanctions pressure on Russia and the possibilities of supplying new IRIS-T systems.<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition, we talked about joint weapons production – in Ukraine and in Germany.<\/span><\/p>\n

“We will develop appropriate military hubs and increase the presence of German companies in Ukraine. We discussed in detail the direction of interceptor drones,” Zelensky shared.<\/span><\/p>\n

Among other things, they discussed Ukraine’s Euro-Atlantic integration. The German minister assured that Berlin supports Kyiv on its path to NATO.<\/span><\/p>\n

“We thank the Chancellor, his team, and the people of Germany for their unwavering support for Ukraine and leadership in defense assistance in Europe,” the president concluded.<\/span><\/p>\n

As a reminder, Ukroboronprom has agreed to cooperate with the Norwegian company Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace (KDA)<\/a> in the field of strengthening the potential of Ukrainian air defense.<\/p>\n
