If a serviceman dies, compensation will be paid to the persons listed at his disposal, and in their absence, the funds will be transferred to the heirs.<\/p>\n<p> The law will enter into force one month after its official publication.<\/p>\n<p> During martial law, Ukrainian military personnel are entitled to 30 days of annual leave. However, it is often not possible to use it in full due to combat conditions, lack of personnel, or other circumstances. At the same time, it is prohibited to carry over unused vacation days to the next year.<\/p>\n<p> We remind you that Ukrainian servicemen who defend or have defended the state have <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/pilhy-dlia-viyskovykh-na-komunalni-posluhy-shcho-potribno-znaty-u-2025-rotsi\/\">the legal right to significant benefits when paying for housing and communal services<\/a> . This is an important step by the state in supporting its Defenders and their family members in a difficult time for the country.<\/p>\n<p> As reported, in April, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/zelenskyy-pidpysav-zakony-pro-prodovzhennia-voiennoho-stanu-ta-mobilizatsii-do-serpnia\/\">signed laws on the extension of martial law and general mobilization in Ukraine on April 18.<\/a><\/p>\n<p> By the way, the Armed Forces of Ukraine<a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/v-ukraini-zaprovadiat-novi-standarty-viyskovoi-pidhotovky-shcho-zminytsia\/\">are updating the format of basic general military training &#8211; its duration will be increased to 51 days<\/a> .
