At the same time, the Kremlin continues to drag out the process, seeking to exploit the personal ambitions of US President Donald Trump.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This opinion <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=aQO-DB7ZP28\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">was voiced<\/a> by diplomat and presenter Dmytro Chekalkyn during a broadcast on the Pryamyi TV channel.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"96\" data-end=\"534\">\u201cThere\u2019s no reason to take these negotiations seriously at this stage, as the conditions made public just three weeks ago once again demanded that NATO halt its eastward expansion. What does Ukraine have to do with that if they\u2019re calling for a return to NATO\u2019s 1997 borders? Can Ukraine somehow influence the Baltic States, the Czech Republic, Hungary, or Poland to leave the alliance? In other words, they didn\u2019t want to cast a shadow over \u2018His Majesty\u2019. Yet Putin\u2019s remarks were entirely contradictory \u2014 he praised Trump\u2019s mediation efforts but also implied they would amount to nothing,\u201d the diplomat added.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"556\" data-end=\"929\">\u201cAt one point, Trump even launched a vodka brand, despite repeatedly claiming he doesn\u2019t drink \u2014 largely due to his older brother\u2019s struggle with alcoholism. Although the vodka was promoted globally, the only country where it is still sold today is Israel. It seems they\u2019re reluctant to reject Trump, as Netanyahu sees him as playing an important role,\u201d Chekalkin recalled.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"931\" data-end=\"1118\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">He also expressed hope that Trump is beginning to change his stance on Russia. \u201cI\u2019d like to believe that. We\u2019re crossing all fingers and toes for this shift to happen,\u201d the diplomat said.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"96\" data-end=\"534\">\t\t<aside class=\"shortcode-also\" data-title=\"Read also\" data-right>\n\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/en\/who-will-die-first-will-the-russian-economy-collapse-quickly\/\">\u201cWho will die first\u201d: will the Russian economy collapse quickly?<\/a>\n\t<\/aside>\n<\/p>\n<p>Recall that <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/peremovyny-z-ukrainoiu-rosiyska-ekonomika-ta-zustrich-z-trampom-putin-zrobyv-nyzku-novykh-zaiav\/\">after the NATO summit in The Hague, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin lashed out at the Alliance<\/a> and once again stated that Moscow had been deceived by breaking its promise not to expand NATO to the East. He also assured that Russia wants to end the war in Ukraine with \u201cthe desired result,\u201d so Russian defense spending, which currently amounts to 13.5 trillion rubles, is aimed precisely at this. At the same time, Putin said that the West is trying to bury Russia\u2019s economy, but believes that \u201cthey will soon die, and they are burying us.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As reported by \u201cPryamiy\u201d, on June 20, Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin made a series of cynical statements regarding the course of the war with Ukraine. He made it clear that <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/rosiia-ne-vykliuchaie-zakhoplennia-sum-osnovni-zaiavy-putina-na-ekonomichnomu-forumi-v-peterburzi\/\">he planned to seize all of Ukraine<\/a> because he considers it \u201cours\u201d, that is, \u201cRussian\u201d. Putin also cynically said that the Russian Federation has an \u201cold rule: wherever a Russian soldier steps, it is ours\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, according to political scientist Vadym Denysenko, with his threats to NATO, Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin once again demonstrated that he is not going to stop the war against Ukraine, but we should not talk about decades, but about the prospects of the coming years, because <a href=\"https:\/\/prm.ua\/putinski-pohrozy-skilky-shche-vytrymaie-ekonomika-rf\/\">the Russian economy can no longer withstand such a load<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the US President&#8217;s special envoy for Ukraine, Keith Kellogg, rejected Russia&#8217;s accusations that Washington and Kyiv are allegedly delaying peace talks.
