Four UAV production workshops were damaged at the Izhevsk plant “Kupol” after the attack on July 1. The company’s work has been stopped.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by Russian media.<\/p>\n

The Russian emergency services reported that the arrival of two UAVs at the Kupol plant in Izhevsk damaged the building of the 1st building, where drones are produced.<\/p>\n

One drone flew into the window of shop 106, the second hit the roof of shop 110 and exploded. A fire broke out. As a result, the roof of the building with an area of 1,300 sq m collapsed.<\/p>\n

In the destroyed workshops, they were engaged in metalworking, soldering microcircuits, and also produced finished UAVs.<\/p>\n

The Kupol factory was working around the clock in three shifts. After the attack, the company’s work was suspended. Three factory workers were killed, and 45 more were injured.<\/p>\n

It is worth noting that the Izhevsk Electromechanical Plant “Kupol” is one of the largest enterprises in the Russian defense-industrial complex. It produces the “Tor-M2E” air defense system, as well as the “Harpy-A1” UAV.<\/p>\n
