The US Congress has called on President Trump to urgently brief lawmakers on the status of aid deliveries to Ukraine.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by<\/a> Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick.<\/p>\n

Congressman Fitzpatrick voiced deep concern over reports that the delivery of previously approved aid to Ukraine has been suspended, as the Russian Federation continues its summer offensive and escalates attacks on civilians.<\/p>\n

“While the United States must strengthen our defense industrial base at home, we can \u2014 and must \u2014 simultaneously provide critical support to our allies defending their freedom against barbaric invasions by dictators. Failing to do both is unacceptable,” Fitzpatrick wrote.<\/p>\n

He stressed that Ukraine is fighting not only for its freedom but for the freedom of the entire democratic world.<\/p>\n

“This is a pivotal moment: Ukraine\u2019s bravery must be met with action. The United States must continue to lead. There can be no half measures when it comes to defending freedom,” the congressman emphasized.<\/p>\n

In closing, Fitzpatrick said he was formally requesting an urgent briefing from the White House and the Department of Defense regarding the Pentagon\u2019s most recent review of the decision to suspend \u201ccritically needed and life-saving military assistance to Ukraine.\u201d<\/p>\n

\nAs a reminder, the United States of America temporarily suspended the supply of some anti-aircraft missiles and precision ammunition to Ukraine<\/a> due to concerns about the level of its defense reserves.<\/p>\n

As reported, after reports of the suspension of the supply of part of military aid to Ukraine, the Pentagon assures that Washington continues to work on solutions.<\/a><\/p>\n
