In the border area of the Kursk region of Russia, a high-ranking military officer was eliminated – Major General Mikhail Gudkov, who had recently taken up the position of Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by pro-Russian military Telegram channels.<\/p>\n

According to preliminary information, he died as a result of a strike on one of the command posts in the village of Korenevo.<\/p>\n

It is noted that in addition to Gudkov, at least ten other servicemen were killed during the attack, most of whom held command positions.<\/p>\n

Mikhail Gudkov was only appointed to a position in the central command of the fleet in March of this year. Before that, he commanded the 155th Marine Brigade of the Pacific Fleet, which has repeatedly appeared in reports on military operations in Ukraine.<\/p>\n

Although the Russian side has not officially confirmed the loss of the major general, sources among Russian propagandists actually acknowledge the severity of the blow and the scale of the losses.<\/p>\n
