On the night of Thursday, July 3, air defense forces in eastern and southern Ukraine effectively repelled an attack by Russian strike drones. Of the 52 Shahed-type drones and their imitators, 40 were destroyed.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by<\/a> the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.<\/p>\n

The attack began at around 9:30 p.m. on July 2 from the directions of Orel, Millerovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk, which are located in the territory of the Russian Federation.<\/p>\n

As a result of the night operation, the air defense shot down 22 drones with fire, another 18 were disabled using electronic warfare. The enemy struck seven targets, and the fall of downed drones was also recorded in one of the areas.<\/p>\n

As a reminder, as of the morning of July 3, Russia has lost about 1,023,090 soldiers since the start of its full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Over the course of the day, the enemy’s losses in manpower reached 1,000 people.<\/a><\/p>\n

As reported, over the past 24 hours, 185 combat clashes have occurred on the Russian-Ukrainian front. The hottest situation remains in the Pokrov direction.<\/a><\/p>\n
