The US State Department assured that it did not stop all arms supplies to Ukraine, and that the Pentagon\u2019s decision made the day before was just one situation.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was stated by US State Department press secretary Tammy Bruce at a briefing, answering journalists\u2019 questions about whether the cessation of supplies would complicate negotiations with Russia.<\/p>\n

She noted that this would not become a factor, since arms supplies to Ukraine were not suspended, and called it \u201cone event in one situation.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bruce added that US President Donald Trump has reaffirmed his continued commitment to Patriot missiles and the Pentagon has robust options to support Ukraine.<\/p>\n

She stressed that one should not draw too broad conclusions from this decision, since aid to Ukraine continues.<\/p>\n

Let us recall that the United States of America temporarily stopped deliveries of some anti-aircraft missiles and high-precision munitions to Ukraine<\/a> due to concerns about the level of its own defense reserves.<\/p>\n

As reported, after the news about the suspension of deliveries of part of the military aid to Ukraine, the Pentagon assures that Washington continues to work on solutions.<\/a><\/p>\n
