Hungarian Ambassador to Ukraine Antal Heizer was summoned to the Foreign Ministry in connection with “unfriendly statements from Budapest.”<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by<\/a> the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.<\/p>\n

During a meeting with the Hungarian Ambassador, Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Oleksandr Mishchenko emphasized that it is obvious that the Hungarian authorities are trying to drag Ukraine into an internal political struggle.<\/p>\n

“Now all these inept methods to create an image of an enemy from Ukraine, which is fighting a real enemy of all of Europe and the civilized world, look simply pathetic and offensive, primarily to the Hungarian people,” the Foreign Ministry emphasized in a statement.<\/p>\n

It is noted that, unlike the authorities, the Hungarian people are a European nation that, through the volunteer movement, helps all Ukrainian people in repelling Russian aggression.<\/p>\n

It was previously reported that the introduction of the 18th package of EU sanctions against Russia was blocked due to the positions of Slovakia and Hungary<\/a> .<\/p>\n
