On the night of Friday, July 3, the Russian army carried out another massive air attack on Kyiv. First, kamikaze drones were launched over the city, then missiles. The consequences of the shelling were serious: significant destruction, numerous fires, and civilian casualties were recorded.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by<\/a> Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko.<\/p>\n

According to him, at least 23 people were injured. Five were treated on the spot, and fourteen were hospitalized with injuries of varying severity.<\/p>\n

Strong explosions were heard in various districts of the capital. Solomyanskyi was the worst hit, where residential buildings were damaged – one of the five-story buildings was partially destroyed, and a fire on the roof of another building covered an area of about two thousand square meters. The flames also spread to warehouses, service stations, and the territory of a garage cooperative. <\/p>\n

In the Svyatoshynskyi district, debris from an enemy UAV fell on the territory of warehouses, causing a fire. Debris also fell into the courtyard of a 16-story residential building, cars are burning. A fire broke out in the private sector as a result of debris falling<\/p>\n

Other areas of the city were also attacked. In Shevchenkivske, a drone hit a new, but not yet occupied, eight-story building, causing damage, including the first floor. A fire also broke out in the private sector of the same area. <\/p>\n

In the Dniprovs’kyi, Darnyts’kyi, and Holosiivskyi districts, debris from enemy drones fell on open areas, sometimes near residential buildings and educational institutions. In some cases, fires were avoided.<\/p>\n

Hundreds of rescuers have been involved in the elimination of the consequences of the shelling. The city continues to clear the rubble and extinguish the fire.<\/p>\n

As a reminder, Russian troops struck a cluster ballistic missile at the port infrastructure<\/a> of the Odessa region.<\/p>\n

As reported, on the night of Thursday, July 3, Odessa was attacked by Russian drones<\/a> . Five people, including two children, were injured in the strike.<\/p>\n
