In the Zaporizhia direction, servicemen of the GUR unit “Legion “Freedom of Russia” captured a foreign mercenary who joined the ranks of the Russian army.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This<\/span> was announced<\/span><\/a> by the press service of the Main Intelligence Directorate.<\/span><\/p>\n

As it turned out, the prisoner was an African from Nigeria who was studying at the Moscow Higher School of Economics. The Russians dragged him into the war under the pretext of making quick money.<\/span><\/p>\n

The African served in the 503rd Guards Motorized Rifle Regiment of the Russian Armed Forces. He was promised \u201csafe service\u201d and support in securing positions, but instead was thrown into a \u201cmeat assault.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Before being captured, the Nigerian fought on the side of the Russian Federation for 5 months.<\/span><\/p>\n
