On Monday, July 7, at the initiative of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the government will decide to launch the \u201cStudent Package\u201d \u2014 a new cash payment program.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This<\/span> was announced<\/span><\/a> by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to him, the payment amount will be 5,000 hryvnias. Parents of first-graders attending in-person classes will be able to use the funds to purchase stationery, books, children’s clothing, and shoes. The money will be spent exclusively through cashless transactions.<\/p>\n

Applications for the payment will be submitted via the Diia app. The Ministry of Social Policy will announce the start of the application process and provide further details later.<\/p>\n

It is emphasized that receiving this payment will not affect eligibility for housing subsidies or other social benefits.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe launch of the \u2018School Student Package\u2019 is just one of many innovations aimed at creating conditions for Ukrainians to continue living and working in Ukraine,\u201d Shmyhal concluded.<\/p>\n

Recall that in Ukraine, they plan to increase social benefits<\/a> by introducing financial assistance at the birth of the first and each subsequent child for 50,000 hryvnias.<\/p>\n
