Israel is preparing for a possible resumption of military operations if Iran continues to develop its nuclear program.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to the newspaper, Israeli officials believe that US President Donald Trump may approve renewed strikes on Iran. The issue of Iran’s nuclear program was a central topic of negotiations between Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during his visit to Washington on July 13.<\/p>\n

The Israeli leader intends to agree with Trump on the next steps of the US in nuclear negotiations with Tehran and determine the circumstances under which military action could be resumed. Among the main reasons are Iran’s attempts to remove highly enriched uranium from damaged nuclear facilities, as well as the resumption of uranium enrichment facilities.<\/p>\n

In addition, Netanyahu’s adviser Ron Dermer reportedly held a series of meetings in Washington last week with US administration officials \u2014 Vice President J.D. Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and White House special envoy Steve Witkoff. They discussed Iran’s possession of about 400 kg of 60% enriched uranium, which is currently stored at three key nuclear facilities.<\/p>\n

According to the interlocutors, although these facilities suffered significant damage, a significant portion of the nuclear material remained intact.<\/p>\n

Israeli and US intelligence agencies are closely monitoring the situation to ensure that they do not miss any possible attempts by Iran to export materials or resume nuclear activities.<\/p>\n
