The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate, Kirill Budanov, stated that a ceasefire on the Ukrainian-Russian front should be achieved in 2025.<\/strong><\/p>\n

He said<\/span><\/a> this<\/span> in an interview with Bloomberg.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to the head of the Ministry of Defense’s GUR, this should happen as soon as possible and by the end of this year<\/span> .<\/span><\/p>\n

As he explained, a ceasefire requires the involvement of three parties \u2014 Ukraine, the United States, and Russia.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Is it realistic to do this – yes. Is it difficult – no. This requires at least three parties – Ukraine, Russia and the USA. And we will achieve this position ,” Budanov assured.<\/span><\/p>\n

Earlier, Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga said that 100 days have passed since Russia rejected the US proposal to implement a ceasefire<\/a> .<\/p>\n

Recall that on May 30, during a meeting of the United Nations Security Council, Russia named the conditions for a ceasefire<\/a> – the cessation of mobilization in Ukraine and the halting of Western weapons supplies.<\/p>\n

By the way, the Russian Federation demands that Ukraine destroy all Western weapons<\/a> it received during the war.<\/p>\n
