Bohdan Zayats, a journalist for the municipal TV channel “Novy Chernigov” and a serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, died in the war.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The National Council of Ukraine on Television and Radio Broadcasting reported<\/a> this.<\/p>\n

“Bogdan was a talented journalist, the author of dozens of stories about life in Chernigov during the war, the work of volunteers, the military, and the restoration of the city after the siege,” the statement said.<\/p>\n

It is noted that the journalist remained working under fire from the first days of the full-scale invasion, and then voluntarily went to serve in the Ukrainian Armed Forces.<\/p>\n

“After being seriously wounded on the front line, he did not break down and did not stop, he continued to defend his native land. Bohdan came under artillery fire while carrying out a combat mission on the front line,” the National Council added.<\/p>\n

It is noted that Bohdan Zayts was awarded a certificate from the National Council for the Day of the Military Journalist.<\/p>\n

Let us recall that 21-year-old Hungarian volunteer Asher Benjamin died<\/a> in the war against Russia.<\/p>\n
