But we are adults and we understand perfectly well that this will not happen. In many cases, this will put a potential prime minister in a very precarious position. But from the point of view of gender equality, perhaps the time has come for women,” Omelyan noted.

https://youtu.be/nLzJZf7zci4?t=37

Ritual addition to Bankova: why did the authorities undertake changes in the government?

At the same time, he believes that one should not expect any significant reforms after the renewal of the Cabinet of Ministers.

“As there were no reforms, there are none… We see that there is neither a military-industrial complex nor large-scale serial production for the Armed Forces, and the rampant corruption in our country indicates that the government thinks first of all about itself. The authorities first of all line their own pockets rather than think about the nation. Therefore, it is definitely not worth expecting any radical transformations,” the politician emphasized.

At the same time, he did not rule out that the personnel rotations in the government may be due to preparations for the elections, but in the current conditions this is unlikely to happen.

“There is some conspiracy theory that they are preparing for elections in the fall, but it seems to me that this is a very premature decision, and it is unlikely to happen… There is no logical explanation. But if this conspiracy theory works, that they are really preparing for elections, then this is explained by hatred for the opposition and cases against Petro Poroshenko, against many other opposition politicians, against the public. That is, the field is being cleared, an attempt to reset the government in order to sell new faces to Ukrainians now, pleasant, beautiful, and show that something has changed,” explains the studio guest.

“But whether this is really so or not, we’ll see. I sincerely hope that, despite all the political assessments of the Zelenskyy team’s activities, they finally produce the result for the country that we have long expected from them,” Volodymyr Omelyan summed up.

As a reminder, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy proposed Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Yulia Svyrydenko to head the Cabinet of Ministers . He also announced the beginning of the transformation of the executive branch.

Later, the Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko, who is the only candidate for the post of Prime Minister, announced the main tasks that President Volodymyr Zelenskyy sets for the renewed government. The main goal is to strengthen the country’s economic potential, expand social programs and scale up the production of its own weapons, which will become the foundation for supporting the Armed Forces and the stability of the state.

By the way, MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak reported that an official change of government is expected on July 16 , in which Yulia Svyrydenko will be nominated for the post of Prime Minister instead of Denys Shmyhal. The changes will affect a number of ministries, including the defense, economic and social blocs.

Also follow “ Pryamym ” on Facebook , Twitter , Telegram , and Instagram .

After the appointment of the new Prime Minister, Yulia Svirydenko, one should not expect any significant reforms, as it is possible that the personnel rotations in the government may be due to preparations for the elections, but under the current circumstances this is unlikely to happen.
