The Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office has opened criminal proceedings against former Deputy Prime Minister Stefanishyna.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported<\/a> to NABU at the request of Oleksiy Honcharenko, a member of parliament from the European Solidarity party.<\/p>\n

The People’s Deputy reported that Stefanyshyna is suspected of abuse of power or official position, which led to serious consequences.<\/p>\n

“The proceedings were opened on June 11, 2025. The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by NABU detectives,” Honcharenko said.<\/p>\n

It is noted that Part 2 of Article 364 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, under which proceedings have been opened against Stefanishyna, provides for a penalty of imprisonment for a term of three to six years with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for a term of up to three years.<\/p>\n

The article also provides for a fine of five hundred to one thousand tax-free minimum incomes.<\/p>\n

Previously, former Justice Minister Stefanishyna, who justified “preventive sanctions” against Poroshenko, was caught up in a new corruption scandal<\/a> . People from her entourage received at least four large real estate properties under management through ARMA, including the Trade Union Building on Independence Square in the capital.<\/p>\n
