An officer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a deputy of the Kyiv City Council from the “European Solidarity” faction, Oleksandr Pohrebyskyi, reported that once again the court hearing in the defamation case of the traitor from the OPZZH Voloshyn did not take place<\/strong> .<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported<\/a> on the website of “European Solidarity”.<\/p>\n

“Today, another hearing was supposed to take place on the case of the attack on a statesman, a former People’s Deputy from the OPZZH Voloshyn. This is a preparatory hearing that has not been able to take place for 5 years. Voloshyn fled to Belarus a couple of weeks before the start of the full-scale invasion and is actively speaking on the side of the Russian Federation on the air of “Russia24″, of course against Ukraine. The suspects – that is, me and Mr. Igor – have been serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine for 4 years,” Pogrebysky recalled.<\/p>\n

He added that the meeting did not take place because the prosecutor did not show up. Without requesting that he could not, he simply did not show up.<\/p>\n

“I found time from Pokrovsk, Igor from Pokrovsk found time, the lawyer of course too, and the prosecutor, as they say in army language, “scored”. What do you think, is this a fact of evasion? Can the SZCh be a prosecutor, or desertion? Dear SBI, what do you call it? Will there be qualifications? Is it possible here, because it’s my family?”, – Oleksandr Pohrebysky was indignant.<\/p>\n

As is known, on July 21, 2020, Oleksandr Pohrebyskyi became an accidental witness to an incident near the Verkhovna Rada when People’s Deputy Voloshyn was doused with green paint from the parliament rostrum as a sign of protest against his anti-Ukrainian statements<\/a> .<\/p>\n

“There were absolutely no actions on my part that I could be accused of. I believe that this is absolutely political pressure on me as an opposition Ukrainian politician,” Pogrebysky explained then.<\/p>\n

He added that if the SBU had responded in a timely manner to the anti-state calls of people’s deputies, in particular Voloshyn, when he allowed himself to say from the podium that the Ukrainian state is not sovereign, then perhaps these people who tried to educate him in this way would not have done these things.<\/p>\n\t

Oleksandr Pohrebysky was then detained by security forces for slandering Voloshin<\/a> . The Pechersk District Court of Kyiv released him on personal guarantees from the leader of the “EU” Petro Poroshenko and the people’s deputies.<\/p>\n

All these years, the case was delayed due to the constant failure of Voloshyn and his representatives to appear in court.<\/p>\n\t

“The rhetoric and theses that are being carried by representatives of the OPZZH, people’s deputies, and Voloshyn are hostile to state sovereignty, the independence of our state. And, of course, this is political pressure on their political opponents,” Pohrebyskyi said after another disrupted court session.<\/p>\n

On September 14, 2022, the Pechersk Court sent another summons to Oleksandr Pogrebysky<\/a> , who was undergoing treatment after a combat injury at the front.<\/p>\n

On February 24, Oleksandr Pohrebysky, a deputy of the Kyiv City Council from “European Solidarity”, leader of the veteran organization “Res_Publika. Brothers in Arms”, joined the organization of a territorial defense battalion at the party office. Pohrebysky participated in the defense of the capital and the evacuation of residents of Irpin, was one of the first to enter Bucha, which had just been liberated from the occupiers, and showed gruesome footage of the plundered town.<\/p>\n

After the liberation of the Kyiv region, Oleksandr Pohrebysky continued his service in the 46th Brigade of the Airborne Assault Troops, which participated in the battles for the liberation of the Kherson region and in the Donbas in the Bakhmut area and defended Soledar. In the battles, he received contusions and wounds.<\/p>\n

On August 1, 2024, Oleksandr Pogrebysky became the commander of the KARA Unmanned Systems Battalion of the 53rd Motorized Rifle Brigade. In December 2024, Oleksandr Pogrebysky was awarded the Silver Cross. <\/p>\n
