On the night of Thursday, July 17, a series of explosions were heard across Russia, with several regions hit by drone strikes. The Voronezh, Tula, and Moscow regions were hit the hardest.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is reported by Russian media.<\/p>\n

At least four explosions have rocked Voronezh. According to local residents, one of the drones hit a multi-story residential building. As a result, the facade, several apartments and cars parked below were damaged. According to preliminary data, a 15-year-old teenager was injured.<\/p>\n

Regional governor Alexander Gusev said that Russian air defenses allegedly shot down five drones, but at least one drone broke through and exploded in the city.<\/p>\n

In the Tula region, explosions were heard in Novomoskovsk, and a fire broke out in the town of Shchekino after a suspected drone strike. Unconfirmed reports suggest four defense plants in the region may have been attacked. Local authorities confirmed that the threat of further attacks continued into the morning.<\/p>\n

The Moscow suburbs were also unsettled. Explosions and flares were observed by residents of Zelenograd, while the villages of Lytkyne, Bakeevo, and Alabushevo reported power outages. Drones were spotted in the sky heading towards the capital.<\/p>\n

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin reported that air defense forces had destroyed three drones. Due to the situation, the capital’s Vnukovo airport introduced a “Carpet” regime – takeoff and landing operations were temporarily suspended, and some flights were canceled.<\/p>\n

Recall, on the night of Friday, July 11, a series of explosions shook the Russian regions near key enterprises of the defense-industrial complex<\/a> . The attacks were recorded in Tula, the Moscow region, in particular Dubna and Lukhovitsy, and the Tver region.<\/p>\n

As reported, on the night and morning of July 6 , drones attacked the Russian fleet in the city of Novorossiysk, Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation.<\/a><\/p>\n
