Police have begun investigating the mass poisoning of people in one of Lviv’s restaurants. At present, 56 people have sought medical help, including eight children.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The press service<\/a> of the Lviv region police reported this.<\/p>\n

According to law enforcement officials, as of 10:00 p.m. (July 16 – ed.), 43 people, including three children, sought medical attention for food poisoning.<\/p>\n

Based on the fact, investigators from the Lviv District Police Department No. 1, under the procedural guidance of the Galician District Prosecutor’s Office, opened a criminal case under Part 1 of Article 325 (Violation of sanitary rules and regulations for the prevention of infectious diseases and mass poisoning).<\/p>\n

The police are establishing the circumstances of the incident, conducting expert examinations, and conducting a pre-trial investigation.<\/p>\n

However, according to the Lviv City Council<\/a> , 43 people, including 8 children, were hospitalized in the regional infectious diseases hospital during July 15-17 with a diagnosis of “acute intestinal infection and food poisoning.” All of them visited the China Hi restaurant.<\/p>\n

Subsequently, it became known<\/a> that 56 people were injured. The patients were admitted in moderate severity.<\/p>\n

Let us recall that earlier restaurateur Misha Katsurin reported that he was poisoned in his own restaurant in Lviv<\/a> . In addition to him, 11 other guests of the establishment reported similar symptoms. <\/p>\n
