Today, July 17, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine approved the appointment of Yulia Svyrydenko as Prime Minister of Ukraine.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by the people’s deputy from “European Solidarity” Oleksiy Goncharenko.<\/p>\n

262 elected representatives voted for the corresponding decision.<\/p>\n

Yulia Svyrydenko became the 19th Prime Minister of Ukraine, and the second woman to hold the position.<\/p>\n

Let us note that on July 15, Denis Shmyhal wrote a statement about his dismissal from the post of Prime Minister of Ukraine<\/a> .<\/p>\n

Subsequently, the Committee on the Organization of State Authority, Local Self-Government, Regional Development and Urban Planning at its meeting considered and approved the resignation of Denys Shmyhal from the post of Prime Minister of Ukraine<\/a> .<\/p>\n

By the way, President Volodymyr Zelensky officially confirmed that he offered the current Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal the position of Minister of Defense of Ukraine.<\/a><\/p>\n

The day before, President Volodymyr Zelensky proposed that Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Yulia Sviridenko head the Cabinet of Ministers.<\/a><\/p>\n

Subsequently, People’s Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak reported that an official change of government is expected on July 16, within the framework of which Yulia Svyrydenko will be nominated for the post of Prime Minister instead of Denys Shmygal<\/a> .
