On the night of Friday, July 18, Russian troops attacked Zaporizhia Oblast twice – the Stepnohirsk community was hit with guided aerial bombs, and the suburbs of the regional center were hit with kamikaze drones. As a result of the shelling, one civilian was killed and another was injured.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by<\/a> the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov. <\/p>\n

According to him, in the Stepnogorsk community, the enemy used guided aerial bombs on residential buildings. Large-scale fires broke out in several high-rise buildings. At the site of one of the strikes, rescuers found the body of a deceased person – a 64-year-old local resident.<\/p>\n

Also at night, Russian forces attacked the suburbs of Zaporizhia with Shahed strike UAVs. According to preliminary data, at least nine launches were carried out. As a result of the hits, non-residential premises were damaged, fires broke out, and serious destruction was recorded.<\/p>\n

A 79-year-old man was injured in a drone attack. He was provided with all necessary medical care.<\/p>\n

Fedorov stressed that the Russian attacks were directed exclusively at civilian infrastructure, and once again confirmed that the enemy continues terrorist tactics against civilians. Rescuers, law enforcement officers, and government officials are working on the ground. The consequences of the strikes are being clarified.<\/p>\n

Recall that on July 17, Russian occupiers attacked Kryvyi Rih with drones.<\/a><\/p>\n

As reported, on the night of Thursday, July 17, the Russian army struck again in the Dnipropetrovsk region. The occupiers launched Shahed-type kamikaze drones over the regional center.<\/a><\/p>\n
