On the night of Friday, July 18, the Russian occupiers carried out a strike on Ukraine using 35 Shahed strike drones and various types of imitation drones. Ukrainian airspace defenders destroyed 11 enemy UAVs.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by<\/a> the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.<\/p>\n

According to information, most of the enemy drones (29 of them – Shahed type) were launched from Russian territory – from the directions of Millerovo and Primorsko-Akhtarsk.<\/p>\n

The main target of the attack was the frontline areas in eastern Ukraine.<\/p>\n

The response to the air attack was organized by anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare forces, and mobile fire groups of the defenders.<\/p>\n

“According to operational data, as of 08:30, air defenses shot down 11 Shahed drones, and also suppressed six imitation drones in the northern and eastern regions of the country,” the Air Force reported.<\/p>\n

In addition, 18 UAVs were recorded hitting five different locations, and debris from downed drones fell in two other places.<\/p>\n
