On Monday, July 21, a new meeting of the Contact Group on Defense of Ukraine will be held in the Ramstein format – the participation has been confirmed by the NATO Secretary General, the head of the Pentagon, and allies from over 50 countries.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was reported by<\/a> the British delegation to NATO.<\/p>\n

It is noted that the next Ramstein meeting will be held online this time.<\/p>\n

The meeting will be co-chaired by the United Kingdom and Germany. NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, the Supreme Allied Commander Europe, US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, and representatives from dozens of partner countries will join the discussions.<\/p>\n

The Ramstein format brings together allies who have been coordinating military assistance to Ukraine since the start of the full-scale invasion. The meeting is expected to focus on the priority needs of the Ukrainian army, including strengthening air defense systems, artillery support, and long-term defense commitments.<\/p>\n

As a reminder, on June 4, the 28th meeting of the Contact Group on Defense Issues of Ukraine in the “Ramstein” format was held in Brussels, which brought Ukraine record amounts of military assistance and became another confirmation of unwavering support from international partners.<\/a><\/p>\n

As reported, after a meeting in the Ramstein format, Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov announced the launch of a new international initiative – joint production of Ukrainian weapons in the territory of partner countries.<\/a><\/p>\n
