Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal met for the first time in office with the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrsky and the Chief of the General Staff, Major General Andriy Hnatov.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Denys Shmyhal reported<\/a> this on his Telegram channel.<\/p>\n

“We are preparing new supplies of weapons for our defenders, in particular with the support of international partners. It is important that any offensive attempts by the enemy are defeated by the power of the Ukrainian army,” said Denys Shmyhal.<\/p>\n

The situation on the front, increasing Ukraine’s defense independence, and the needs of the military were also discussed.<\/p>\n

“We will work together to fulfill the tasks set to strengthen our defense capabilities,” Shmyhal summarized.<\/p>\n
